Ten years later, after the war in 1947 (Showa 22), while preparing soup at the ramen shop \"Sankyu\" in Kurume City, it was accidentally boiled for too long. This accidental failure led to the birth of what is now the milky-white tonkotsu soup. In the 1970s, this milky-white ramen came to be known as \"tonkotsu ramen\" by popular acclaim.
