Nishimura-en Chaho was founded in 1951. Its founder, Sadayoshi Nishimura, was such a matcha enthusiast that he would sprinkle matcha powder, which spilled during tea production, onto "Shiro Dia," a famous confection from Tagawa in Fukuoka Prefecture's Chikuhō region, and eat it.
Inspired by his grandfather, the third-generation owner's passion led to the creation of Nishimura-en's new specialty from Chikuhō Tagawa: "Matcha Taiyaki."
The matcha used is of the highest quality, the same kind used by tea ceremony masters for their ceremonies. The red bean paste has a unique flavor with a subtle hint of condensed milk at the back of the mouth, and the outer layer is a chewy dough kneaded with matcha. Please enjoy!

◆ Storage Method
Store in the refrigerator for one week, but please consume as soon as possible.

♦ How to Enjoy
Warm the refrigerated taiyaki
in a microwave for 30 seconds.
If it's still cold, heat it for an additional 10 seconds at a time.
Afterward, warm it in a toaster oven for 20 seconds to make the outside crispy and the inside chewy, enhancing the deliciousness.
It's also recommended to eat it with whipped cream.
