The Chikugo region in southern Fukuoka Prefecture boasts a mild climate and the vast Chikugo Plain, nourished by abundant water sources from the Chikugo River basin. This area was once a widespread production center for igusa (rush grass).

Currently, it is a region with thriving unique local industries, producing a wide variety of rice, vegetables, fruits, and tea.

Toshin, a producer of igusa products, creates igusa products that match the changing times.
